They Said What?

This is a clip from one of the gazillion different extreme sports events from last year. Just dug it out of the archives during a clean-up. First time using the Brightcove player, too.

Beancounters at a major media corporate just turned down the expense report for a buddy of mine. The offending item? Cab receipts to and from a bar where he was having drinks with clients.

 The reasoning? He had a rental car, so why would he need a cab?

When he mentioned that he doesn’t drive drunk, they told him that he didn’t need a rental car then.

I got an email from an airline pilot looking for a job. Apparently, he doesn’t know the difference between a turban and a turbine.
